HISTORY: A brief timeline of ADC Engineering

ADC Engineering is a full service structural engineering, roofing/waterproofing consulting, civil engineering, and land planning and landscape architecture firm.  Our work is based on the highest quality of work and professional principles.  This package of information was assembled to introduce our firm.  We are much more than can be written about in a few pages and are confident that you will see that in the near future.

In January 1990, ADC Engineering, Inc. began with only two employees and a 900 square foot rented office space.  The service provided was structural engineering with an emphasis on client relationships and innovative solutions.  Mark Dillon, P.E., S.E. serves as the President of ADC Engineering, Inc. and leads our Structural Engineering Department.  Mr. Dillon and his structural staff have completed numerous projects involving federal, state, and local governmental agencies, educational institutions, commercial properties and residential structures.

With progress, growth and demand, the company welcomed Greg Jones, P.E. and Chris Cook, P.E. providing an unparalleled level of civil engineering experience.  With the addition of Civil Engineering, the company became ADC Engineering, Inc.

In 2003, ADC Engineering expanded its talents and capacities with the addition of landscape architecture services.  Warren Pruitt, ASLA, brings more than two decades of diverse project experience ranging from recreational to government design. Previously, the talents of this department were with LS3P Associates, Ltd.  ADC Engineering’s relationship with LS3P made this transition possible and allowed for complete in-house site design services.  Also, in 2003 ADC Engineering opened a branch office in Charlotte, North Carolina to better serve our southeastern clients.

In 2015, ADC expanded again to open a branch office in Greenville, South Carolina. Two civil engineers and a landscape architect than had been with ADC for over 10 years opened the office in the Upstate and today they have grown to a staff of 11.

Currently, ADC employs 50+ staff members with services of civil and structural engineering and land planning and landscape architecture.

We work with a myriad of clients to provide cost-effective tailored solutions to meet unique client criteria.  Owners, architects, contractors, developers, educational facilities and property managers are all clients who benefit from ADC Engineering’s array of services.

ADC Engineering is headquartered at 1226 Yeamans Hall Road, Hanahan, South Carolina in Berkeley County, and is incorporated and licensed to practice in the State of South Carolina. Our Columbia office is located at 7825 Broad River Road, Suite 300 in Irmo, South Carolina and Greenville office is located at 25 Woods Lake Road, Suite 210, Greenville, South Carolina.
